Welcome Home Baby Morgan

As many of you know, I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on November 10th.  Unfortunately, she was 3 1/2 months early and weighed in at 1.11lbs.  She ended up staying in the NICU @ Honor Health Shea for 139 days and is now officially home 3/29/18!  Daddy, brother and I could not be happier to finally have our baby home.

Originally starting this blog, I was planning on just doing my real estate “stuff”, however I think this is a great place for me to express things we are going through with our new baby Morgan Marguerite DeMiguel.  She is now weighing in at almost 14 lbs, and is doing amazing!  Currently, she is not on any medications and is simply working on getting off her feeding tube.  The feeding tube was required because she was aspirating when drinking the bottle.  At this point a couple months later being home, she is doing more and more bottle feeding, and less tube feeding.  We are so anxious to get rid of the feeding tube!  We are going to feeding therapy each week trying to work on getting that amount she is taking on the bottle, slowly increased.  We hope to have the feeding tube off by time she is one years old (and that is not that far away).

Stay tuned and I keep everyone updated on the progress and growth of this beautiful baby girl who has had a lot going on in her short little life already!
