REAL ESTATE: think it is all pretty and fun?!?!?
📰 News flash it is not. Reality is, you are not only dealing with one of the most important transactions a person will make in their lifetime, you are dealing with emotions, third parties (lenders, title companies, family members and possibly more). This create a lot of “parts” of the transaction that are not in your control.
LESSON learned on this one: THE LENDER is so uber important to the process…. a GOOD LENDER, even if it is not my client’s lender.💯
This specific transaction had the lender “fired” on the 11th hour due to lack of communication, questionable demands for things that were not normally required and more. (I represented the seller, not the buyer & had no say in who the lender was).
Be aware who you work with in this very important transaction, because it can totally affect the bottom line. This transaction should have taken 30 days and it took 3 months! 🤬
